2020 - RETURN TO THE GAME - COVID RESTRICTIONS

PRIOR TO THE GAME (and training):

Before participating in any football activity, participants should not attend training or play in a match, if in the past 14 days they have:
- been unwell or had any flu-like symptoms, or
- been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, or
- any sudden loss of smell or loss of taste, or
- are at a high risk from a health perspective, including the elderly and those with pre-existing medical heath conditions. 

TEAMS:
- Teams must turn up 25 mins or less before the game. You cannot turn up 1 hour before to “warm-up”. At 5Sports, you can turn up earlier provided you go to either Court 1,2,3 to warm up.
- On the bench/sideline. Some degree of social distancing needs to be adhered to (1.5m rule). No one is allowed on the bench/in the bench area except the Coach/Manager and players for that game. Players that aren’t playing, friends, mates or siblings cannot be in the bench area.
- Players, officials, volunteers and/or their parents/carers should carry hand sanitiser on their person in order to enable good personal hygiene. The club is not responsible for providing teams with sanitiser (except within Club facilities).
- Each participant must provide their own drink bottle that is clearly labelled and is only used by that individual. No sharing of drink bottles.
- NO Team handshakes prior to kick-off
- NO Team huddles, handshakes and high fives
- NO Multiplayer goal celebrations
- NO spitting at any time
- Players must turn up ready to play. IE: Be wearing their soccer gear. Changeroom facilities will NOT be in use (Woolooware/Tonkin/5Sports).

SPECTATORS:
- 2 Parents/spectators per player (including siblings. EG 1 parent and 1 sibling, 2 parents no siblings, 2 Grandparents no parents and no siblings) may attend games provided precautions are taken to minimise transmission risk. Social distancing of 1.5 metres must be adhered to and no more than 10 in a group. Spectators need to spread themselves around the game and not be near Players, Coaches, Managers (the bench).

FOOD:
- No communal Lollies, Cakes, Food, etc – That is, you cannot bring a bag of lollies, cakes, sandwiches or other food to share. Each player must provide their own.
- No communal Oranges/Fruit – You cannot bring oranges or other fruit for the team. Again, each player must provide their own.

CANTEEN - WOOLOOWARE OVAL:
- The Canteen will be opened for all drinks and hot/cold food (including BBQ).
- Social distancing is required (1.5m) when ordering/waiting. There will be markings to follow. 

CANTEEN - TONKIN OVAL:
- The canteen will be opened for Drinks, Pies and Sausage rolls.
- Social distancing is required (1.5m) when ordering/waiting. There will be markings to follow.

CLUBHOUSE WOOLOOWARE/TONKIN/5SPORTS:
- Changerooms are out of bounds (apart from using the toilets).
- Woolooware Clubhouse – Only 5 people allowed at any one time. Only Coach or Manager (or referees) will be allowed in the clubhouse.

PUBLIC TOILETS:
- Seek to avoid the use of public toilets, however if necessary, ensure hands are washed/sanitised thoroughly. Toilets will be cleaned more regularly by Council (apparently), but be careful. The club has no control over public toilets.

SSFA SKILL TRAINING COACHING COURSE FOR U8-U14

SSFA are offering the Skills Training Coaching Certificate Course which is aimed at coaches of 8-14 year old players on 7th and 8th August at Harrie Dening Football Centre.

If you are coaching in these age groups you will find the information on these courses invaluable. The courses are largely practical in nature so you will get to experience first-hand some of the latest methods and techniques used in the FFA National Curriculum. You will also receive FFA accreditation and an opportunity to meet fellow coaches with similar objectives

2020 - RULE AMENDMENTS DUE TO COVID 19

There have been rule changes for this season only to relax some laws due to covid and the effects on Teams.
